more power brake questions

So I have been reading previous posts as well as the articles section and I am curious about something. I have a '77 F150 for parts w/ factory power brakes (discs up front)...my wheels started turning and I was curious to see if anyone has tried adapting this setup to a '60? Would it bolt up directly, or am I better off buying a kit?? I read an earlier post that these are great set ups for the '65 and later trucks. Any input appreciated!

The brake rotors will bolt on the spindles with the bearings mentioned in the 57-64 brake article. The calipers might work. Remember the steering linkages are attached differently from 65 on. As for the power brake booster and firewall brackets check the bolt spacing. You may end up needing to make a few spacers for firewall differences. I didn't have a donor truck to compare parts to when I wrote the article.
