I have a 1999 4.2L F150...and want to add a row of switches down along the bottom of the dash, for fog lights, air horn etc. There is a 6 or 7 " holder built into the dash I think for maps or something. It has no other use. What I am wandering...does anyone know of a supplier that makes a box that can fit into that oval hole so that I can mount switches etc... I have made one out of plastic and duct tape..the grey matches the dash colour...but there must be someone who has either designed or marketed an insert box for that stupid little hole. ( I had a S15 pickup one time that I could mount a dozen switches if I wanted. I miss that ability. Now the newer trucks make it more difficult to add accessories...)

I have a 99 F150....with a bad horn that needs replacing. What is the best way to replace it....from the top down or from the bottom up.

You have to get at the horns from under. They are under the headlights on passenger side. I just had mine done with some other stuff. I added piaa horns, I think they were $45 $ 50. You could also get some from a bone yard.
