Hey guys, I think I'm just going with the stealthbox. Have used JL in the past and been happy with them, and heard good things about it. I will be running it off the stock 6 disk/MP3 player for now, and doubt I will be messing much with any of the other door speakers. I just need BASS! So basically this is what I'll need right?:
1) the stealthbox w/ sub
2) an amp (they recomend a 300 watt only but have heard to use a 500?)
3) Wires to run to the batery and from amp to sub
4) Someone to do the install, mainly running the gauge wire to the batery

How much am I looking to spend here for this entire setup? Also any imput or ideas appriciated, thanks...FLU

 

got a quote awhile back from hifi.. $500 for the sub and box, $500 for the amp (JL), and $100 for the install. so somewhere around $1100..

 

That's a cheap install. I talked to a BestBuy about installing a 4channel amp. They wanted:
$80 for installation
$90 for the amp kit (wires)
~$30 to take the seat back off to mount to the wall
So all in all it was around $200 for installation.

bestbuy is a rip off when it comes to things like this, i use to work there, its rediculous on some of there pricing..
