2002 Ford Explorer XLT O2 Sensor Location 2, Where is it?
Hi, I took my 02 Explorer to a transmission place the other day for a free computer test, because they say if your CEL light comes on and stays on it could be the transmission causing it, and they will read the codes for free. Anyway, the guy hooked up his computer and came back with a code for a O2 Sensor Location 2, where would this be on my Explorer? He said my transmission was reading fine, so if anyone can tell me where this is, I sure would appreciate it..
Thanks
Thanks

Bank 1 is allways where #1 cylinder is and sensor 1 is allways the one closest to the engine, so bank 2 is the driver side and sensor 2 is the one after the cat. This O2 sensor monitors the efficency of the cat, but be aware it may not indicate that was the original problem. Look further upstream and check the other sensors for proper signalling
