I'm not sure, I had never thought of the balance tube. I make sure to ask about it when it is in the shop.

 

I'm still young enough to like it noisy, I have one truck that I did all the way back, it sounds good but its not loud, then I have one where they both go back and dump right at the rear axle, then I have two pickups that go to the passenger side and dump right by the frame rail. I like this configuration the best. It sounds good, and its loud to the ricers...
