Clutch, Pressure Plate, & throwout Brearing

To do this by yourself using the aforementioned method just tighten the pressure plate bolts finger tight. this allows for a l;ittle finessing of the tranny which makes it much easier. Then go in through your inspection cover to tighten the pressure plate bolts. I have used this method many times and it has never failed me. Good luck.

I installed it tonight. It went very smooth. I also finish rebuilding the car with Story. The PO stripped the inlet thread for the fuel line so we had to retap and seal with jb weld. I will let it sit until Monday and then install the carb. I also mounted the coil. It looks good. I will take some pics tomorrow and post them
Thanks for the help

As far as the carb, you may want to try this; JB won't last very long, could be inviting an engine fire:
"The answer to the leaking fuel line fitting problem is as close as your local NAPA store. Ask for p/n 2-93, it is a repair fitting that will cut it's own thread and convert's to a AN type seat, the line nut that screws into it is p/n 105-5 for 5/16 fuel line.
The fitting cost $6.63 and the nut was 13 cents. "
(clipped from an old thread) I think this particular part was for a Holley 94, but they have one for every common thread size.
