Since my F250 was nearly stolen last week, I realize the importance of ignition keys with a chip like my wife's 2002 Explorer. However, my 2004 F250
does not have a chipped key.......do the later models have a chipped key or has Ford complelely overlooked the security on the F250?

My 2006 has no chip either. I read somewhere that the 2008 ignition keys will have a chip.

 

My 05 F250 no chip,good friend lost his 04 ,no chip either,but luckly got it back.

 

My '07 does not have a chip in the key.
