Just How Many To Equal a S-S?

That is, how many 'Vettes does it take to equal a Super-Snake? Wish I could come up with something that would increase in value like Carroll Shelby's S-S in 41 years...

Pretty sure one of these Vettes would equal that.......

Additionally, if you took the $10,000 and averaged 18% (I know, pretty decent rate) you'd have your 5 million in 40 years.

Marauder,

When a 'Vette goes for 5.5M, let me know (Gotta include that fee, ya know!)

There were only two ZL1's made. I "THINK" there were only a couple Super Snakes ever made.

The day a ZL1 goes to auction, I'm sure it'll get at least 5 mil.

Ever watch those BJ auctions????

Pisses me off to no end. GM cars get THOUSANDS more than similar era Fords.

(maybe I should be glad?)

The Speed announcer said that it was the remaining one of two S-S's that were built. I watched B-J all weekend, recovering from some surgery I had Friday morning. Too bad those high rollers and their high bidding spoil it for the rest of us in the hobby...

Right on................I'm not sure which BJ I was watching a few weeks ago but there were what seemed to be mundane Chevelles going for thousands more than SCJ drag pack Fairlanes and such.....

Also seemed like the announcers always had snide remarks concerning the Fords.

I agree 100%..........even the "cheaper" Fords are out of my league money wise.
