1959 Ford Ranchero
I have owned a 1959 Ford Ranchero for a little over 18 years now. I drove it daily the first 10 years, then I garaged it the last 8 or so. I have reworked most of the mechanical side and am now looking for some interior/exterior pieces so I can finsh and have this thing rolling right again. I would be interested in anything from parts to a whole body. It has a transmission that is 3 in the column with an automatic overdrive.
Works great (over 175,000 miles) but I am trying to prepare in advance. I doubt anyone could work, much less fix that oddball. I also need gears for a factory spotlight and pieces (or a whole) for an
AM search-find radio. If anyone can help me, please respond to my E-mail address. Thank you.

Can't help with your parts but just wanted to share my 59 Ranchero experience. Bought mine in 74 in San Bernardino CA. Straight stock at the time, 292 and three on the tree. Dropped in a full tilt 312 with 3 deuces - very cool at the time. Also put in a T-10 four speed. Had to grind a half inch off the input shaft, but afterwards fitted fine. Also put in 64 Galaxie buckets, 69 Mach 1 hood scoop, 59 Galaxie door panels and Torque Thrust D mags. By 79, the octane on pump gas was too low to run the 13:1 pistons I had. Pulled the 312 and dropped in a 390. Sadly, had to sell it in 83 when I went to Europe for four years. I think the 59s were the best looking of all the Rancheros. Just sold my 73 last month. I liked it, but it wasn't a 59.
Good Luck on your project.
