"59 - f100 - 292 firing order

started after 13 yr. storage. it ran well for first couple of days. then began missing with loss of power.cleaned fuel system, replaced oil&filter, points, plugs & wires and found bent p/rod - corrected. starts easy but when running there is no power and has wet ride side exhaust pipe with little smoking(dual exhaust). when pulling each plug wire it seems the end cylinders cause engine to slow but not when pulling the inside plug wires.
could it have jumped time? any help is appreciated 'cause i'm stumpped in the back yard.

Firing order is 1 5 4 8 6 3 7 2. Valve lash should be set at .018 hot and running. Need to do a compression check to ensure rings and valves are not stuck. Glad to hear the old Y lives !!!
