Well as far as the new Toyota is concerned I'm not brand bashing I'm sure it will do well in sales. Where it is made really doesn't matter, if it is here in the US. or over seas since all the profits are going to one place. The only good thing about a factory being here in the US. is that Americans will have jobs. My preference is to own my Ford F150.

On Sunday afternoon there was a program on NBC, they were at the Detroit auto show. From what they were saying, Toyota is targeting the strangle hold that Ford has on the light and medium duty truck market. As far as the new commercials that Toyota has out, if you pay close attention you will notice that it is slight of hand. For example, the trailer hitch that they put on is simply mounted differently, that doesn't make always make it stronger. They show two rear diff. ring gears, if you notice the one they use is taller but not as thick as the first gear they show. The brake rotor that they show looks like it's off of a Ford Festiva. I don't know of too many half tons that have rotors that small.
