56 F500 Chassie
I just got back from Oklahoma where i picked up a 56 F500
for its rust free cab. The truck only had about 28,000
miles on it and has a running 6 cyl. i only need the cab
and front clip( will not be using the fenders) Do you think
some one would want to buy this chassie and drive train or should i scrap it?

diesel engine for F500
Hi.
I read your discussion about the F500.
I have one more recent I plan to use for work .Cannot complain about the 361 cu. in. industrial that's in it except for fuel consumption.
Seems like there might some kind of diesel that would be compatable.
Wonder if anyone on this site is familiar with the '75 F500?
Saw a 6.9L ford diesel for sale recently and wondered if it would work well.
Thanks , Jeff.
