You guys have mud? Our mud up here is frozen.
It's a little easier on the drive train though, with less drag, but heqq on the fenders and bumper. The problem isn't horses to giddyup go, the problem is stopping.
Wish you guys were a little closer. It sounds like fun. Have a good one.

Mark didn't make it... but Jose and I still went to Apex. The dunes went great, but it was good enough. A freind of mine also went with us. She deffinately enjoyed the off-roading.
Sure hope you guys are getting lots of practice in - our project is starting to come together.
How about fastest time in a sanctioned mud drag, street division, one trail that you get to pick, and, if a winner is not obvious, a third heat in a mud bed you chose?
The main restriction for the street division is no larger than 33" streetable tires, and no nitrous.
You guys up to this?

WillyB I'm already running too large of tires as my rig sits on 35's and soon to be 38-40in tires. Maybe I'd have to enter my 77 for the event or throw some 33's on the 70. Are 33's required for the trail also?
Na, you guys get to set the rules (if any) for the trail ---the 33's are required for the street class of the mud bog. 35s would bump you to super street, and 40s would put you with the modifieds (Skip's class).
I think that is the way the classes go - I have yet to find any sort of an offical rule book.

Don't know yet, but my thinking is that you guys pick out the trail - it will be May or June so maybe somewhere high? Just remember we are coming from the north, and Reno is 2 to 300 miles from us.
Mud bogs - maybe Fallon, or even another central Nevada town that has a track. Perhaps Skip can help us out there. The third heat, if needed, we can leave open.
