Sanderson Headers in the SF Bay Area has what I've been told are the closest block huggers for a Cleveland. I've got one in my '56 and will be getting them when I get around to it. The website is sandersonheaders.com
Hope this helps!
Craig
I put a 351c/2bbl heads in my 53 f100, and headers for a 73 mustang fit like they where made for it, except I had to cut the rear crossmember out. I have the original front suspension and steering box. I am going to modify the crossmember and put it back in.
Do you know if the '52 frames are much (if any) narrower than the '53-'56?? I am planning on a Mustang II type IFS but that shouldn't hinder any, should it??
Anyone else have any ideas suggestions, or past experiences??
Sanderson has the dimensions of their headers on the website. I'm not familiar with the frame dimensions even on my '56! Sorry. I think I've seen discussions on this site about them though. Keep looking, it's gotta be in here somewhere...
LAST EDITED ON 14-Jul-01 AT 05:32 PM (EST)[p]Sanderson's look nice, but they are just too darn expensive for me. The ones I got are heddman from Summit racing for 99.00. They are the nicer thicker ones. I don't know if they would fit your truck or not, but everywhere I bought some headers, they were willing to take them back. I tried some for a 351m/400 that fit a 78-79 pickup, but they hit the bellhousing near the starter. So I just took them back to advance auto. They actually would have gone under the rear crossmember. All the block hugger styles seem to be made for 4bbl heads. They are not cheap either.
