There is an air filter mod, 6637 is the napa number, 46637 is the wix number for the filter, you get a 4" 45 degree exhaust elbow the filter couple of high quality hose clamps and I used a Fernco flex coupling for 4 inch sewer line the 6 dollar coupler it is a homade cold air intake that frees up the turbo. the 4" exhaust replaces the flex coupler. I will try and post some pics. FPR shimming cost me $0.09 bought a 3/16 inch ball bearing from the local bearing store and increased fuel pressure to the injectors increasing throttle response. the air intake is about 80 dollars and on the left you have a bunch of sponsors who sell chips. I have a TS 6 pos which I like, but if I had to do it again I would go with a tony wildman chip totaldieselperformance.com
the rest I would keep for a rainy day cause ya never know when you are going to need glow plugs (GP's) or a GP relay (GPR) or a cam position sensor (CPS) all about 100 bucks, and all known to go bad from time to time. Have fun and enjoy the truck

Oh yeah, http://www.intellidog.com/dieselmann/powers~1.htm

go read this page and follow instructions read carefully IMO only use Motocraft 15/40 or rotella 15/40 and no additives unless it is the anti foam, and your truck will run better.

you can build your intake for about 60 bucks..

dont know what tranny you got but i would throw a set of injectors and a chip at it?

do you have gauges?

my tranny is a 5 speed manual i also have a solid flywheel in it. as far as gauges go i don't have any yet. i see somebody mentioned injectors. i use this truck about everyday to haul a 20 ft livestock trailer and i was wondering if adding higher performance injectors would effect the longevity or durability of the engine. i plan on keeping this truck for as long as i can because it is the best one i have ever owned.

Moderate injectors and a chip will not hurt the longevity of the engine as long as you don't throw major HP at it. Get some Stage 1 or 2's and a chip. You'll be amazed at the performance increase.
