cam positon sensor

cam positon sensor
my check engine light came on and i got a buddy to get the code from it and it was the cam position sensor i bought it but dont know where to start or find the location of the old sensor. what needs to be removed to put it on and do i need any special tools?

Welcome to FTE, nice to have you on board. For technical relies go to the FORUMS listing in the upper left hand just below the FTE banner and click on it. This will bring up the list and then to repost you inquiry click on the 1997 - 2003 F150.
