It takes all kinds

Ok, I was killing time cruising around Ebay (don't ask me why...I can't affordto buy anything) and I stumbled on this truck;

Item number: 160061598783

Now I have see a few front wheel drive trucks over the years. It used to be quasi popular to make a car hauler out of the old front wheel drive Eldorado and Toronados. And I've even seen an old Dodge humback delivery that was a front wheel drive so the handicapped driver could just roll his wheel chair right in the back and up to the drivers area.....but this thing takes the cake

Look at the picture of the back of the truck...this guy has gone to extremes to keep his frosty beverage container out of direct sunlight

First one I've ever saw; looks sharp and good detail paint. I've never heard of a vehicle being split down the middle. He chopped, shave & split the whole thing. I would buy if I had money to waste. Don't really care for the spears on the side or the wooden bed though.
Everyone has his or her own taste, regardless of the flavor..

I nominate this truck for the Darkside Poster Child of 2006. C'mon, it's got IFS, IRS, rack'n'pinion, PS, A/C... If you don't like how these trucks are stock, this is the one for you!

"And from the 'high on crack' department, we bring you the following.."

Why? I hope that he used bad sheetmetal for his conversion. He also probably could have used F7-F8 front sheetmetal as it's wider.

IMO, it doesn't "flow" together very well. I don't hate it, but I won't buy it. Wonder what his reserve is.

I like it! although I think it could benefit greatly with a bed (ala Keith-Cruz-Cab) to make it a pick up

Reminds me of the time the Sewer Plant overflowed during a big storm. There were "Brown Trout" floating all over.
Do believe that's what coudda happened there.

I'd like to see it close up and in person. It would be neat to see if the mods were quality or just some cobbled together junk.

Not exactly my style but you got to give the guy credit for creativity. Maybe he had a pile of junk laying about and was able to get it all pieced together.

Its definately interesting

It's rather sinister looking...has a sort of Mad Max look to it. I saw a 48 F-? a couple of months ago at a show where the owner had cut off the original frame behind the cab and grafted a car trailer to it. It had an Olds Toronado front suspension with FWD. He hauled another car to the show on the back of the truck. It was pretty cool.

I wish I had his money and I would have spent my time differently. Not for me, but I guess it made him happy.

Everyone has his own idea of what's cool. The truth is exposed when they try to sell it...
