Fiberglass Tilt Front Clip?

Fiberglass Tilt Front Clip?
Has anyone had any experience installing one of those fiberglass front tilting clips? Fairlane company sells one that hinges towards the front bumper. I hear they take some modification to the cab surface. Just wonder if anyone has good things to say about them. Considering one for my 49 F1.

John, Have you noticed any cracks in the fiberglass? I have spoken to you, i say close to 3 yrs ago about it. But i never asked if you saw cracks. I have one that someone tried to use. Mine has cracks but i think they never had support in it.They just bolted it to the frame with not much strength. The cracks look like stress cracks in the outer gel coat. Thanks RT
