A sawzall. Just cut the POS up and pull it out. Cut it near the bottom then push it up and cut the head off it and it should pull right out.

If you can get your hands on a plasma cutter it takes about 15 minutes.
Sawzall considerably longer, but still the only other way to go.

Im thinking about putting on a after market exhaust. What size down pipe are you adding? What kind of performance? I wont to somehow fabricate a 4" down pipe to fit on the turbo and fit between the firewall and run 4" all the way to a 5" tip.

Dale sells one that fits like a glove, I had him ceramic coat mine. Goes from 3" at turbo to 3.5" then 4" where it bolts up to exhaust pipe. Give him a call 509-922-8785 http://www.tymarperformance.com/

xp1o1d5,

A 4 inch has been done but it's a custom job and will require lots of mods to the firewall. Take a look at the MBRP system, it's 3.0 inches for 21 inches and then expands to 4.0 before the turn out from the turbo etc. Best flowing and sounding system going. Call us if you have any questions, we also stock down pipes alone and cat test pipes that bolt to the stock system in aluminized and stainlesss.

Lightbulb The ceramic coating

acts as a thermal barrier (1300° inside the pipe only radiates 65° outside the pipe), and retains the heat in the exhaust gasses.
