Can it be done wthout pulling the motor? Mabey welding on new collectors on the old ones? What should I dO)

 

The motor doesnt have to be removed...but the old exhaust header does, if you can find one at a local junk yard, and if its in good condition, then go for it. You do however have to get a set of exhaust gaskets and presoaked the exhaust bolts (WD-40 or other rust bustin fluid) Retorqued the bolts in the correct pattern and reconnect the air tubes.

 

If its not EFI, then just swap them out and don't forget the donut gasket on that side.
