Talking barney the beater

well i went to look at a truck of my friends that he said he would give to me if i wanted it. its a 63 ford f250. its got a 352 for a motor and is in really good shape for a ranch truck. theirs a little bit of rust on the back corners but no holes that i found in the floor. theres some dents but i dont really care i just want something to drive till i get my 59 done. as im about to turn 16 and my 59 still in a bout a million pieces or maybe its a billion. hes still has to look for the title and i need to go over and run some checks on the engine to make sure i can get it running before i haul it home. im limited to one project at once. just thought id brag about my find even though it is in the wrong forum.

Thats a heck of a deal! Sounds like a great plan to have a driver while you're working on the other.

You can never have too many trucks
Good luck with it

Hey wait a minute thats two free trucks for you. I want one and since your focused on your 59 I'll take the slick. Is it a unibody? Oh I forgot I don't have anymore room according to my wife. Well you better hang onto it for me for a while. I'll let you know when I get some room. Good luck have fun with it, Rich.

well rich it not a unibody. it's a 4wd f250 heck it don't even have a bed of any sort on it. that does make two free trucks and i can get a 63 ****** wagon too i just dont have room. im thinking of maybe taking a 69 ford body and put it on a 64 ford 4wd frame and selling it to a kid i know. all i would need would be to put it together and rebuild a 390 my dad has lying in the shed.
