(Can I say that here) Well the first thing that happened was the motor came out and its on the floor. Now I have the option of reinstalling a 351W Fuel Injected Motor or My Beloved 351C This Old Girl is going to be a Hot Rod I'd Love a 429 but that will have to wait. I need some opinions on this and has anyone installed a FI Motor.is it worth it. I'll probally be running a C-4 Tranny with a Posi 9". I really need the advice. Righting the wrongs of confused people

If you going to install the EFI 351W then I would forget about the idea of a C-4 behind it. It would be easier in the long run to have an EAOD. There have been a ton of swaps over the years that are accessable through a google search or even in our tech articles. If I remember right there is a listing of all the wire you really need to hook the computer up correctly.

I would go ahead and build the C-4 to handle the power of the 351C. There's a few sites that have C-4 kits to handle 500 Hp with no problems.

Sure is good to see you putting a decent drivetrain into your unibody Ford. I agree that the 351C is a great way to go for this if you don't go to another Y-block or an FE. The C4 is a good tranny when built to withstand power and robs lots less HP than a C6. Depending on your intended use, you may want to keep the rearend ratio around 3.00 if this is going to be daily driven, or go up to 3.73 if you intend to do a lot of "exhibition acceleration," as the Officer Friendlys of the world would put it.
My father-in-law recently had given to him a '59 Chebby Apache fleetside wide curved window PU that until 8 yrs ago had been in good unrestored condition. Then some alcoholic ex-con yahoo got hold of it, acid etched the name of his girlfriend (whom he'd met as a penpal while in the Pen and who is now his ex-wife) in the back window, tack welded in a Camaro subframe and a 455 Olds engine, painted it ***** brown, filled the radiator up with water and drove it for a couple of weeks, then parked it under a sap-from-hell oozing tree for the next 8 yrs. Yes, the tree got uprooted in a storm and crushed the front of the PU, the engine block froze and cracked, the paint chipped and flaked and the underlying crappy bondo work sluffed off, the wheels got pawned, etc, etc, etc. In all, a perfectly good (for a Ch*bby, that is) PU got ruined by an idiot. An old old old story. But actually, who cares? It was just a Ch*bby, after all!
Glad you're going to give yours a nice going over.
