M-3 front fenders

Looking at the front fenders I think the opening is slightly to big. Would it be possible to use F-1 front lower panels and bend the opening to fit. It looks like it would bolt in.

Thanks
Nathan

They wouldn't really just bolt on. The back edge where the 2 meet and angle down are not the same. EMS was producing them at one time. I'd check with them before you alter a F-1 set.

I know that it the F-1 is longer. I meant would I be able to modify the top fender to meet the lower part.

The upper half is actually shorter by that junction because of the wheel opening radius. You would have to add to that area of the upper half to meet the F-1 lower section. The F-1 section would stick into the wheel opening towards the tire. i'd try to find some that are good or at least repairable. Seems like alot of work to modify.
