Updated my gallery of stock 50 F1

I just posted a bunch of new photos of my stock, unrestored 50 F1 if anybody's interested. I'm slowly working my way through all the mechanicals on the truck. I've got it so it runs great and have been driving it around town. It gets lots of looks 'cause of its appearance. My wife calls me Fred Sanford (she doesn't know that Fred's wasn't a '50). I'm planning to sand it all down a prime it soon but I kinda hate to spoil the original, barn fresh look. I had the left front fender off, sand blasted it and patched a couple of small holes. When I put it back on in gray primer, it looked so out of place that I sprayed it with some read and black primer to make it match the rest of the truck (crazy huh).

Looks great, and love the rear end all shiny and bolted up to a rusty frame.

I know, I Know! I've already started wire brushing and painting the frame with POR 15 but I started at the front. I also started sanding and priming (grey) the body last night. I decided to give up on the "just dragged from the barn" look when I heard that my neighbors were circulating a petition to have me thrown out (and my wife had signed it). Fortunately, I also really like the flat grey primer look.

Hi Dan
Great gallery. Looks like you're going in the right
direction. I noticed that you said that your heater was
a non Ford unit. It looks a whole lot like my Magic Air
unit but possibly missing the aluminum cap that would
go on the round part on the front with the 4 slots. This
unfortunately seems to be a near impossible part to find.
Mine is somewhat trashed but I can send you a pix if you
want.

Ham,
I would love to see a picture of your magic air heater. I just assumed that mine was non Ford 'cause it doesn't say magic air on it and because the heater core nipples don't line up with the knock-outs in the front of dash (we don't call it fire wall in the auto industry, too many lawyers) giving me two extra (but neat) holes in the dash.
Thanks,
Dan
