1957 Ford F 250 3 Door Crew Cab
I have a 1957 Ford F250 3 Door Crew Cab Pickup which I was told is one of 3000 made and the assumption was that they were made for the
railroad for crew transportation. Does anyone else have one? How do I find out any information on them? Were they factory or after factory? Thanks for any info like color? It appears to be green under the black & white.

Hi, and welcome to FTE.
There were two different green colors available on 1957 Ford trucks. One was "Meadow green", the other was "Willow green".
If you can post the data from your rating plate, I would be glad to de-code the info for you.
As for being a 3 door crew cab I suppose that Ford could have made trucks special for the railroad, but my best guess would be that they were done after factory. Your vin # and rating plate data might help shed some light on this.
Do you have any pictures? If you do, you can create a photo album in the "user gallery" and upload pictures to it for all to see. I would definately be interested in seeing your rare find! Hope the info helps

I myself have a 1960 Crewcab four door from Orreville Metal Specialty Co. The tag for it was found on the passenger side rear seat mount. Where did you find your truck? What's it's history? I'm unsure of my trucks history. Are you going to restore it or rod it? Could you post some pictures of the inside of the rear part of the cab ( particularly the driver's side ).
