the filler on the mustang tank is on top in the back.. depending on how low you mount the tank you should be able to turn a filler neck back to the roll pan.

I have seen one done that way at the supernationals several years ago.. the guy had a cute little drop down door in the rear bed support behnd the bumper..

You might have some trouble with back flow if you can't get a little angle on it though.. I'm going thru the bed wood. you can see a good pic of the tanks on my site if you're not sure. The sixteen gallon filler is flat on the top... the 20 and 22 gal are sloped toward the back... might be a better choice for rear entry filler pipe..

just my 2% of the dollar..

the bed wood fill might be the way to go, im not sure yet. i want the tank up close to the bed floor so its not down low,so maybe the through bed is better. is anything special needed in the way of pump for fuel needed to get the fuel from thart much farther away, or will it just need longer fuel line and thats enough?

A stock pump will handle it just fine... I would recommend replacing all the lines... don't try to patch onto what is there. Fuel tube is cheap and new stuff is clean. I used 3/8" steel for mine with an inline filter...
