cherried-out 1978 F250 High-boy 4x4
Can someone tell me what i should pay for a totally cherried out 1979 F250 HighBoy.
it has a 1970 460 Lincoln block bored out to about a 477 (ish. The motor is clean, everything works.
it has detroit lockers front and rear, with a brand new Spicer ring and pinon in the rear.
It has L&L headers with dual flowmasters striaght out the back on 3" exhaust.
the paint is two-tone Silver and Magenta metallic.
Body is clean front to back.
it is stock as far as lift goes, it sits on 35" BFG Mud Terrains on Weld Aluminum wheels.
like i said before, this thing is cherry
The guys wants $10,000 for it. should i pay this much or try to come down???
let me know.
thanks

highboys ended in 1977 1/2
but thats not really the point if the rigs got that much work into it.
how bad do you want it? do you think its worth $10k?
how long has it been for sale? why is it for sale? how much money is into it? if its the type of truck your looking for how much would it cost you to build it exactly the sameway or modify it the way you might want to? was it built to show or to wheel (theres sometimes a huge difference)
its really up to you if its worth $10k but i know people who have put way more into a truck and not gotten anywhere near that for the selling price.ask for receipts for all the work done and drive it around awhile.
goodluck
