Paint Code for 1953 grille
I doubt that there is a code for it.
Is the grille off the truck? If so, I would try to find an area of the grille that has a good amount of the paint that hasnt been bleached by the sun.
Take the grille to your local jobber, and have them do a computer scan and mix you up a pint. (cant imagine it would take anymore than that.)
you can have them scan several different areas of the grille, and get an "average" of the color.
I hope that helps,
Drew

Paint Code for 1953 grille
Let me clarify that a bit...
Yes you may find a code for this color (white/creme), but manufacturers have made so many changes to paint in the past 50 years, that I personally doubt that the code you get, when mixed today, would come close to matching what is already there. (I believe I know what Im talking about here....lol)
I have seen tons of old cars repainted that bore no resemblence to their former color, and the owners get downright defensive.
That is why I recommend having it computer matched, and that you do a test spray first to make sure it is the color you really want.
Drew.

Let me second the notion of getting the color scan done (its a n/c job at most paint shops). My '55 needed nominally 'Snowshoe White' which after 4 formulas of too-creamy light tan samples off different manufacturers interpretations of an old enamel in modern paints-----------I gave up and went happily on to paint with the much brighter result of a scan.

Paint Code for 1953 grille
I got paint chips from COLOR-ITE Refinishing Co. for my '54 F-100. One chip was for the meadow green body color, the other chip for the grille. '53 and '54 grilles were both "Sungate Ivory". My '54 Ford specifications manual (I suggest you buy one of these for about $10.) says the grille was painted Sungate Ivory, a neutral color that goes well with any body color. All you need to do is send them a note with the color you need and a stamped self addressed envelope and they will mail you the chips you need. Their web site is: http://www.color-ite.com/. Their address is:

Before I got the chips from Colorite I had bought my parking light assemblies. They were painted a cream color. To my suprise the paint chip matched the paint on the parking light doors exactly!
