Strut tower brace?

Strut tower brace?
I know that the f150s have full frame rails unlike the mustangs do but does anyone think that the truck would benefit from haveing a strut tower brace or is the frame stiff enough?? I have a 04 heritage reg cab flareside. Does anyone know if they're any aftermarket braces out there for this??

Since your '04 is a Heritage model, you retain the conventional coil spring front end with shocks.
In general in sounds like you would be looking at:
different springs
sway bar
shocks
And yes, I'd expect lowering the vehicle cg would help reduce front end roll.
You might want to poke around in the supsension forum here at FTE.
Likely to get more ideas and input there as opposed to here in the 4.2 forum.
Thanks.

Yea thats what i figured. I can get the lightning swaybar kit and the lowering kit and i should be good to go. as for the *** some traction bars should work pretty good. i know f150s arent particuarly made for racing but its in my blood and i bought my 04 because of the lightning. in time i plan on having my v6 push about 300 to 350 horses with NA eninge. granted yes a v8 would be easier but i have a good setup in planning. i would buy a lightning but this way is cheaper and my truck is a 5 speed. lightings are autos. never understood why they didnt make them 5 speeds.
