F100 Eye-candy
Just thought I'd share a pic of a few of our club's trucks at a local show this past weekend...

Can anybody identify the bumper on this truck? Looks like Henry J designed it special for this 56 F100...

Sweet pic!
One is not like the other, lol. (no not the bumper either)
Looks like a rear bumper off a 70's car.

Wow, great pics of some very nice trucks!
I too think it looks like a mid 50's Chevy truck bumper, I like it, it fits the truck well.

You got it! This was actually a fairly popular mod among the old school guys in the 60's. Here's what it looks like on the original truck...

I don't care what anybody says, that Chevy is a good looking truck. I've always liked the 55-59 GM trucks (especially the single headlight years)
Its amazing how well the bumper matches up to the Ford....very cool

I agree Bobby, in fact I bought a 56 3100 big window last year...got it sitting in the storage garage waiting its turn. Thought that I might paint it the same color as my 56 F100...twin sons of different mothers!

Like Bobby, I too really like 56-59 chevy's. And like Chuck, altho I'm a Ford Man, I'd buy one. The front ends of those trucks are just beautiful.

I bet the guy that has the black truck feels silly or out of place b/c he doesn't have a tilt nose kit. Otherwise, they are purty trucks.
