Nixon 2" lift brackets - should I get them?

I'm planning to add a 2" leveling kit to my 2001 PSD. I'm going to install 20" wheels, and 33" tires under it. I have a few questions. I have an F350, so it has the 4" block in the rear already...or at least...that's what I'm told. Is that accurate?

I've seen full spring pack replacements for about $300-400 that will give me 2" of lift, and I've seen these Nixon spring relocation brackets that also claim to give me 2" of lift in the front.

1. Will the Nixon kit give an actual 2" of lift, or should I get 3"?
2. Would 3" put it level, or is 2" enough?
3. Do you recommend this kit?
4. Is there anything else I have to buy?

This is a street application, and for looks. I'm just trying to gain a little clearance for the 33" tires on 20" wheels.

Thank you.

here's a picture and description of the Nixon kit I'm talking about:

Nixon Performance 2 inch spring relocation brackets for 99-04 superduty 4X4 trucks and 99-05 excursion 4X4 suvs. This is commonly called a leveling kit. I bought this kit but decided on a different lift. This kit provides a drop for the front and rear-mounting points of the front leafs. This setup will keep the caster angles the same as stock, and will not put the front driveshaft at a horrible angle, unlike kits that drop the shackle side only. This kit will lift the front end of the truck and retain the factory ride quality. There is no welding required for this installation. These brackets are made from MIG welded 1/4" steel.

No, I wouldn't buy it. These ebay specials have been on the forum before. The problems are these: Nixon has no reputation to speak of, so quality is "iffy". And that kit requires the elimination of the crush bar, which would normally bolt to the bottom of the stock spring hanger and gives the truck slightly more rigidity in the front end and keeps little cars from going to far underneath. Well named manufacturers of spring hanger kits, like Donahoe Racing, Fabtech, etc. include a new crush bar. Those spring hangers also appear to have no place to mount the bumper bracket that is on the inside of the wheel well and attaches to the stock spring hanger.

2" should level your truck. Since that's what you're after, consider a 2" mini spring pack kit (http://www.donahoeracing.com/prod_detail.php?productID=1). Truck Toyz could probably set you up nicely.

What do these 2" mini-spring packs cost? I think I can get the brackets for $150 or so, and I can do the installation myself.

Prices vary wildly. I'd say, give or take, without shocks, around $225. Installation of mini-spring packs compared to the hanger/shackle combo is faaaaaaaaaar easier.
