Steve FYI, There are a lot of the car columns that will work, (posted by a list member a while back)If you like the tilt feature or particular style get the old tape measure out and go to work. There are a lot of different columns in the Effies that I have seen at shows.

John is right again (as usual ). However, if you are looking for an original column you will NOT have much luck. You might find a floor shift 4 speed column, but I doubt you will find your automatic column. The steering box and shaft are one piece and that is what causes all the problems for our 1963 abd earlier trucks.
The later model trucks, 65-66 and up had seperate steering boxes and a rag joint that will allow you to use a tilt column, but I don't like your chances on the '63 because of the straight axel. (Like MINE ) There just ain't no easy way.
I am going to use a Lokar floor mount shifter for my C-6 and a LaCarrera 15" steering wheel to give myself some "clearance" in the cab.
Good luck.
