I found the casting numbers C3AE 8090C on the heads. From previous support from you guys I determined this was a 1963 vintage engine from a Ford Galaxie and the heads are 406 cu type. My issue is there are not no.s on the engine bosses. I was told this is a 390, but the heads say 406. What do I have?

measure the bore and stroke of the motor and bounce it off the factory specs that way you know what you have
