1956 F-500 Newbie looking for answers
I just bought a F-500 yesterday (pics in gallery soon)
Its in good shape BUT wheres a good place to start looking for parts. I'm going to need glass for sure, a head liner all that kinda stuff.
Also the speedo has quit working any ideas there?? (odometer as well- I'm thinking cable??) The orginal owner said it just quit on the way to the sale- I know the guy so the mileage is orginal.
Its got a V-8, would that be a 272?? Its got a 4 speed with a electric 2 speed rearend.

Welcome to the board!!
There are tons of places to find parts for these old trucks. first step is to check out the sponsors section on this site. There should be lots of links there, most places will send you a free catalog. Alot of the catalogs have exploded parts pics that are very helpful. You can also pick up a copy of any enthusiast magazine....they typically ahve tons of ads from the vendors.
