would i gain anything by putting headers on my 64 ford f-100 292 v8? i am hoping to gain some gas millege and performance. thanxs for the info

Deron, in theory, headers will help your mileage a little. They will help the power you have, especially on something with asmatic exhaust like your 292. Because of how we enjoy this extra power, the reality is we usually get the same mileage or worse because of having your foot in it all the time. But you will have more fun doing it. HPguy has purchased a set for his 292, why not ask him how he liked them ? DF

I've got a 61 with 292 v8 y-block.. I Plan to have some custom bending done on my exhaust to run a dually... Any muffler shop that does custom bending can help...
