I found my code on my f250 behind the radio area. I took off the coin or storage box and had to move some insulation and cables to see it, but found it on a white box.
What year is your F250? I have an 05 and have yet to attempt to look for it. Any suggestion where i can start?
Looking for key code. Pulled radio and moved insulation and wires. Saw black box with harnesses plugged into it. It was a Bosh box but couldn't find the code.

I have a 2000 X, and when I bought it, the owner had no idea of the code. So I looked at article after article... tore apart the WHOLE dash, and looked in all the places... NO CODE... I guess they didn't put printed codes on the '99 SuperDuty and 2000 X.. I wasn't about to pay $100 for some guy to tell me the code, so I looked into it more. I read a forum (not sure where) where someone used Microsoft Word to create a Macro to make all the possible codes... (sounds like something you wouldn't want to do, but you will be surprised) There are 5 buttons on the keypad. So you go into word create this macro that uses all the possible 5 digits numbers it could make with 0 1 2 3 4. It makes about a total of 10 sheets of codes at like 5 or so columns on each page.... TONS OF CODES. You then label the 1/2 key: 0 the 3/4 key: 1 and so on.... so now your keypad looks like 0 1 2 3 4... then you enter codes.... I did this for 10 min. and found my code. Some may be quicker, some may take longer... If anyone would like me to send them this word document with all the numbers, I would be glad too, also if anyone would like me to explain the procedure better I will. I'm so greatful that I found out about this way. I wish I would have remembered who it was so I could give the credit to that person, but it was probably 6 or 8 months ago. Good Luck!
I've also got the 8 page Word document and can e-mail it to anyone who is interested.

I did the hack method a few weeks ago for my '01 Ex and got it in about 20 min. I never even asked my dealer because I am sure of what they would have said.
