What year is your F250? I have an 05 and have yet to attempt to look for it. Any suggestion where i can start?

Looking for key code. Pulled radio and moved insulation and wires. Saw black box with harnesses plugged into it. It was a Bosh box but couldn't find the code.

2004 F250 diesel 4x4

Can someone email the list of codes johnrdunbar@yahoo.com
Thanks in advance!

I read a forum (not sure where) where someone used Microsoft Word to create a Macro to make all the possible codes... (sounds like something you wouldn't want to do, but you will be surprised) There are 5 buttons on the keypad. So you go into word create this macro that uses all the possible 5 digits numbers it could make with 0 1 2 3 4. It makes about a total of 10 sheets of codes at like 5 or so columns on each page.... TONS OF CODES. You then label the 1/2 key: 0 the 3/4 key: 1 and so on.... so now your keypad looks like 0 1 2 3 4... then you enter codes.... I did this for 10 min. and found my code. Some may be quicker, some may take longer... If anyone would like me to send them this word document with all the numbers, I would be glad too, also if anyone would like me to explain the procedure better I will. I'm so greatful that I found out about this way. I wish I would have remembered who it was so I could give the credit to that person, but it was probably 6 or 8 months ago. Good Luck!

I did the hack method a few weeks ago for my '01 Ex and got it in about 20 min. I never even asked my dealer because I am sure of what they would have said.

I tried for an hour to locate my code on my 05 and I removed the lower dash panel inclduing cup holder and trash bag holder. I even removed my radio and looked behind it, yeah, i dont think so. There is nothing behind it except a matel tube going from one side of the dash to the other, and above that ube is a huge peice of black vent tubing that is attached to the firewall. Maybe in 05, they put it elsewhwere, but on my truck, its not behind the dash.
