Question SeaFoam Transmission tuner

Has anyone used this stuff in their transmission? Many of us have used the SeaFoam that you put in your gas tank but I saw this stuff the other day and I was wondering if it's good for anything or is it just one step above snake oil?...I'm due for a trans oil/filter change and I was just wondering if this would be worth my time...

thanks
Doug

If your transmission is working good right now, I do not think it should be used. I have used this product on (the wife's) Grand Voyager after the transmission failed to engage in drive for the first 2-5 seconds after moving the shift lever, then it was extremely harsh. The vehicle would also go into limp mode (2nd gear only) from time to time. After adding the Seafoam TransTune and driving for several miles, the transmission started working normal again. The transmission eventually had to be replaced after another 1.5 years when it totally failed to go into forward gears. This product may buy you time if you are currently having problems.
