DODGE RAM 1500 HEMI vs. FORD F-150 TRITON v8
#2
The Hemi will blow the doors off of a 5.4. The Hemi comes with a class norm 5 speed auto while Ford still uses the cheap and antique 4 speed slop-o-matic. The Hemi can also be has with 3.90 rear gears making for a fun drive if the cost of tires doesn't mean anything to you. The Hemi will, however, eat you out of house and home with the fuel bills dispite having cylinder deactivation and MSD. The Triton is by far the most reliable engine and will live much longer than a stressed Hemi. You can go fast in a Hemi, just not for long. So if you are buying a truck to burn the tires off of- buy a Hemi. Want to have it for awhile and get fairly decent fuel mileage and dependablity- buy a Triton. Now if Ford got their head out long enough to put the 6 speed auto in the F-150, things might just change- by a lot. But knowing Bill Ford,,,,,,,,well, that's another thread.

Well if cost isn't an issue... A chipped diesel Superduty, with water/meth and nitrous injection will give your Gallardo a run for its money

Considering the "Galli" isn't even the top "Lambi" and there are a lot of cars that can stuff it............including the $50,000 less expensive Ford GT.....
Oh, nevermind, don't need Fred yelling at me.................again!!!
What's wrong with people living their fantasies on the world wide web???
