Hey there guys. I will be doing the 3in body lift on my truck this weekend and was wondering if there were any tips or tricks that would be helpfull. Thanks in advance for the information.

 

Hey I just put a 3in body lift on my truck 2 mos ago and I wouldn't wish it apon my worst enemy just make sure you have plenty of help and air tools and it will be allright.

Tip 1- Make sure you take the bed loose and move it back about 3in or so before you jack the cab up otherwise you will ger a nasty chip behind the cab.

Tip 2- Be prepared to take all of you interior out seats carpet not necessary but much eaiser to get at the body mount bolts.

Tip 3- Don't force it! Things will break!

Tip 4- Good luck with the shifter linkage.
