12" Sub in CC F250 Question

For those of you who have a Super Duty Crew Cab..... were any of you able to fit one or two 12" subs behind the rear seat??I know it can be done, b/c I've seen it oh CarDomain numerous times, but When I went thru the trouble of pullin my rear seat, the truck box that I bought for a 12" sub was WAY to shallow for the Sub (its an Eclipse sub), and I don't know of a deeper 12" truck box..... so how did y'all do it?? Does everybody just run a lower end 12" that has a smaller magnet and depth on it?? I hate havin my sub just sittin in my backseat floorboard takin up room (in a hatchback box)
Thanks for any info and/or pics

I have a F250 crew cab .. and have 4 10's behind the back seat .. yup 4 ! .. the box was custom made by the installed .. i have 10" crossfire subwoofers and it will rattle the truck. All the items behind the back seat and they made it to totally fill the area, to have enough air for the subs .. I think it was about $200.00 for the box since they did my whole system

My 10's have more ample room, 12's are comming shorting. I think I spend about $30-50 making the box, I'll be building a new one for the 12's as well.

hey lifted .. don't think of a 10" as wimpy .. now granted I have 4 .. but if someone builds the box right, ported with the correct air volume, a SINGLE 10 can really hit hard !

Oh hell no, I built my box (for my 12" eclipse's) but I did have to move my rear seat forward about 1 inch.

Where would it be a decent spot to place a sub in a 79 Bronco? I figured about putting the amp behind one of the seats and a box in the middle with the sub, any better areas?

Here is a photo of 2 12" alumapro subs behind the rear seat, rear seat in factory position, power sliding window works. I previously had 1 10" Treo sub, but it did not have close the bass as 2 12"

nice setup, Ducster. I may try and build a custom box then, not that I know I can fit it back there.

That looks like a pretty simple build. Just a triangle box covered in carpet.

I had a 01 cc 250, I bought a pro comp 12 box and mtx 5500 series 12 sub. The box fit perfect but the sub was a little to long in depth. I took a scrap piece of plywood siliconed and screwed it to the box before installing the sub worked perfect. The only problem was when i traded my truck the box wouldnt fit in my 06 because of the power back glass. Once again got the saw out and started cutting, me and my friend notched the box and resealed it to fit around the window unit and it fits perfect.
