It will fit the engine, but the pressure line inlet and return line outlet are in different locations than the truck fuel rail.

Is there a way I can run a line to the front of the engine under the upper intake and adapt it?

Can you not find one out of a truck? I'm not really sure how to extend the fuel line, but I suppose that would be the way to do it if you really must run the mustang fuel rail.
