Smile Should I buy this truck??????

It's a 1979 XLT with towing package all options, New rubber, brakes and only 56,000 miles with matching Fiberglass topper. 1 owner owned by local 90 year old all records indicate this is true and has all maintenance records and last year had AC repaired. Drives better than a new 150 I drove the other day. I can get for 7900 amazing shape looks new. Copy and paste to see it really want it and I know it's hefty price but I've never seen a better one this year and condition.

It looks like a good truck, But that price is about $2000 too much, See if they will lower the price, if not look into a powerstroke diesel F-250 or F-350.

You can find many diesels with low miles for cheaper than that one you mentioned earlier. You just may be suprised with the power, ease of maintence, reliability, towing capibility, and last but not least the better fuel economy.

Just my $0.02 worth.............

You know what they say, if it seems too good to be true it probably is. That price is waaaay too high. Id say theyd have to come down at least $2000.
Id take a newer truck with more miles on it over an older truck with fewer miles. Sitting all the time is worse for a vehicle than being driven all the time.

I try and get them down a little more and BTW the insurance is only 100.00 a six months for full coverage. Good thing I don't have to drive far with it my other vehicle is VW Jetta TDI 50+ MPG. THis thing should be local truck for Honey Dues and some hunting, Fishing, Ect.

Amen to that. We all have valid opinions, but Ddown is the one who is shelling out the money for the truck so his opinion is the only one that really matters.
Ddown, if you like the truck and it appears to be in good shape, go for it.

Your a lucky guy to have a VW Jetta TDI, Here in Colorado they are like gold! They are hard to find in the first place, then when you do, you see one with 200K + miles on it and it is still going for $10-15 grand!!!

I want one of those VW Jetta TDI's every bit as much as I want my dream truck, a 2007 F-350, crew cab, long bed, 4x4, lariat, Power Stroke, 6-speed.

Sorry I got a little carried away there.......

Same thing, and more, with my 4x4. Got it for $8800. Couldn't have been happier!
