Axle vent tube

I am replacing the rear flex line of my 69 F250. The axle vent tube that holds the brake manifold in place is broken. Is that part necessary? If so, where in the world could I find a new one. I believe the rear is a Dana 60
Thanks
Aaron

Yes you must have a vent or the rear end will leak. But you dont have to vent it exactly like original.Try a pipe thread hose nipple in its
place. And just let the fitting hang.
