gear swap

Hey all- How difficult would it be to swap the gears in my truck? I have a 95 F250 that sucks gas as fast as I can fill it up. I want to keep the C6.

Can anyone recommend a shop in St. Charles area? Ever had this done? done it yourself?
Input, input, input.. I'll take what ever you can give.
I run 33-35" tires, what ration would you recommend ??

a 3.73 or 4.10 would bring it back to almost the stock gear ratio.
