Buying WVO ready to use?

I did some checking and found a place in North Florida, Stark, that I can buy WVO filtered and dewatered for .15 cents a pound about $1.11 a gallon delivered to my house.....all 8000 gallons of it. They only sell in rail car tank or OTR tank loads.
I would not have a problem paying $1.50 a gallon if I could buy a couple of 55 gallon drums at a time or 400 gallon tank at my house. Anyone here doing this or heard of it?

well I have heard of other renderers selling in smaller amounts. .70-1.00 a gallon is what I've heard to be the norm.

Why not collect your own

I am starting on that and have a few gallons now. Hard to get people to give up OLD USED SMELLY OIL! I guess people around here think that there is a catch to it. This company that I called, is the main...only, company that I have seen around here that collects the used oil and I had to call three people within the company to get to the man that sells the cleaned stuff. I need an in!
On the other hand, I was looking and thinking of an easy start to this, but I don't think 8000 gallons would be anything easy!!!!!!

Find a local chemical company or ol farmer that has a used plastic tote. They come in 255 gallons and 360 gallons. If you want to pay they are up to 110 bucks. The 55 barrels you should find for 15 bucks. Go to the chinese diner or the local dougnut shop and get some. They usually dont care. Even the bowling alley has some.
