Alternator rebuild
Would anyone know were I could get the specs on the alternator for a 1999 SuperDuty? I would like to rebuild it but I do not have the info on the alternator.

I don't have the specs. but you can call your Ford Dealer parts dept. and they can tell you. They can also run you VIN and it will show all info on your truck, build date, plant, options, standard equip. axles, etc. etc. They are a good source for information.
If you are having it rebuilt, the alternator shop will read the diodes and replace them with the same ones, or sometimes you can have them up the diode size to put out more amps. If you rebuild, have all of the bearings replaced also.
