The really really bad news is, I got a call from the oncologist from the WW Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton that my latest cancer blood tests look bad again, my AFP count is up around 180 now (normal is in the 2-8 range) so, next Thursday I will have to come in to Edmonton for some elaborate tests they don't have the equipment to perform up here, then I am likely to have more chemo and/or another surgery in the near future!
Just when I thought the battle was nearly over... .
Anyhow, I had thought I was going back to work soon, but such isn't the case. So in order to stave off the pending financial doom & have decided to sell my truck & camper.

My Grampa survived a major battle with cancer....so did my uncle who's had several battles...he's finishing his final weeks of chemo for his latest battle.
Bein' in cowboy country I'm sure you've heard this but....COWBOY UP!!

My thoughts are with you. As I type this I am at my folks home as my mom is fighting with the Cancer beast for 8 years and may not be winning. Hope all goes well for you. There are lots of people out there supporting you.
Yeah that sucks major Ken, wish you the best and all, and hopefully you get what you want for your truck and all that good stuff , be sure to post up every now and then and let us know how you're doing .

We just found out that my wife has lung cancer on top of having heart problems so we can relate to your health issues.
