off topic ( just a little )

My wife and I are one step closer to getting our next house , it has all the things we were looking for , a two car garage with 200 amp service , parking for 7 cars , a big den that the wide screen tv will fit into so
I can watch monster trucks with my two boys , i big yard for the kids to play soccer if they wanted , Oh yeah i almost forgot , i has a great kitchen ,4 bedrooms and a hot tub <--- , for the first time i'm going to live outside the city , and enjoy looking out at the stars at night , ( being city raised you don't get that very often , i think the last time was at my dads two summers ago.

just thought i would share that with you guys/gals

Congrats!!

Sounds like a great place. I've always wanted a little more space than my 40 x 100' lot, but then I don't seem to mind it that much when it comes time to cut the grass. . Don't get me started on the garage, never big enough. So I guess with ample parking FTE members now have a place to sit their project vehicles?! Well at least Al should be allowed to start his 427SOHC Fiesta project!
Working in Toronto really limits how far most of us can endure to get some space. The commute and fuel costs can suck the life right out of you.
I hope to join you in the country one day but not just yet. Have to get the kids that higher learnin that their old man never got, then take a good look at moving.

Where abouts did you end up? You're in Oshawa now so likely you stayed east and went north from there?

Oh, by the way if you need any help moving, there might be a few folks on here that own a truck! (well except for the moderator, )

Godd luck with the new place.

Don't worry. My dad has enough Ford trucks to make up for what I don't have. I believe he has 7 or 8.

Lessee, 2 car garage is used for a shop, so no cars parked in there. In driveway you park wife's car, your truck, hmm, that leaves room for 5 parts/project vehicles. I like that!

Congrats on the find.

Congrats on the new house. Nothing beats living in the country and you can never have a yard big enough, it just means more toys.

Atta Boy Chuck !!!!!!!!!!!!

Now about that barbeque party........Best tell the neighbours there's going to be lots of Ford trucks parked on your street this summer and please don't laugh at the little Focus stuck between them.
No, seriously.....pick a weekend & we'll all bring something.

thanks guys for the kind words , we have worked and saved a little money , and its time to get the boys a nice place to live ,
sure we are a bit out of the way , but when you see how fast the cities are growing around the GTA , its nice to have stars when you look up at the sky at night .

and still only be twenty minutes from anything you need .

when i moved down to new brunswick fresh out of highschool , i was really in the boonies 12.5 MILES between stop signs

walked that on when i left , and not by choice , with two suitcases
