Did you know 2v V10 in the tri fuel?
Screwing around doing google searches for Ford corporate info and ran across the press kit for the 2006/2007 super chief with the supercharges tri fuel V10 and the HP levels interested me as they were from the old V10 version..then I saw the 2v V10 specs

Earlier this year some one had a thread on the Tri fuel and we all chatted for a few posts on the blower and all. I never looked past the article that I think Charlie posted. Just read the typical hype.
Trying to find any news about the future of the V10, I ran across this in the press release links. I was dumbfounded when I read quickly the different power levels for the three different fuel selections and immediately thought 2v V10 cuz of the 310 HP on gas... almost let that go by when my brain kicked in and said" wait the hell one minute!" this is a future truck power plant...why the hell are they backing up in technology and efficiency. Note how it is supposed to get 12-13 MPG.... Hell we get that now with the upgraded 3v V10.... things are sounding pretty screwy and maybe Ford is posturing them selves for some dramatic pollution control standards.... at the expense of pissing off a lot of us that NEED the current power levels.
I seriously doubt any attempt to simply "switch on" the electric clutch for the Blower when on pump gas will work... but that is all acedemic... I doubt the Blower/Hydrogen or E85 will be any where near the reliability or efficiency of the current gasoline 3v V10 design. Grrrrr
