Sheet metal thickness

hi i was wondering which is thicker 14gage steel or 18 gage steel thanks

The bigger the number, the thinner the metal. Check out this chart

Do you know what thickness most body repair panels are?

they are not very thick. Probably 20 or 22 gauge.

The repair panels I have bought were all 19 gauge. I used a micrometer to check.
